Featured Friday!- Casey

Hello, my lovely readers! I would love to introduce you to our feature of the day, Casey of Strawberry Freckleface (do yourself a favor and check out her blog!)!!! I was so excited when she agreed to letting me interview her! She is one of the coolest people I know! Let's see what she has to say:

Tell us a little about yourself:

I work as a hair stylist at one of Elle Magazines Top 100 Salons in the USA. Doing hair is my full time job, but on top of that I am a Beachbody coach. I am a a fitness fanatic and I love working with and helping people start their fitness journeys. My coach page is www.teambeachbody.com/caseykaufman. When I have time I like to spend it out with friends, watching anime and documentaries, and of course shopping.

Tell us about your blog:

I started my blog this year, actually. So it's still a baby in the blog world.  I was reading fashion blogs when one day I decided that I could do it too. I had the style, the motivation, and I loved the idea of blogging and telling people where they could find what I was wearing. It's nice to have inspired so many people, and it's great being inspired every day by other bloggers.

What is your definition of cool?

Confidence with awareness. Hands down. 

How do  you fit this definition? What makes you cool?

I don't let anybody bring me down. I live in a bigger city in a not-so-populated state, so fashion is amongst a very small community out here.  Some people don't get it. Instead of being a sheep, I choose to do my own thing and rock the best I can.

Who inspires you to be cool?

In the fashion world - other bloggers, Australian designers, and the fact that I am 26. I am in my mid-late twenties. In the blog world, that is old! I am here to show that even elders (haha!) can have a niche in the fashion world.

In the rest of the world - Dalai Lama. I am following him on twitter, even. Such an inspiring person who teaches love and compassion - something this world is losing.

If your life could have a theme song, what would it be?

That's a tough one. So many songs. The first that comes to mind is Fun - At Least I'm Not As Sad As I Used To Be. Most of the lyrics hold true to who I am.
